Bio.
To give a little background, I have a first-class masters degree in Luxury Brand Management from Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design and have worked in the luxury industry for over 5 years. I am based in North West London close to Notting Hill and Queen’s Park, fantastically located to enjoy the vintage and charity shops in London. I am also truly passionate about travelling to new places, having lived abroad for several years, so I am very keen to expand my knowledge of luxury vintage, charity and consignment shopping all over the world. Our vintage guides will continue to grow as I explore more fashion capitals, up next are Paris, Barcelona & Rome!
I will readily admit that I am obsessed with style, fashion through the eras and evolving trends. This, throughout my 20s, manifested itself as having little to no regard to the impact of my frivolous and overindulgent shopping habits. Then during my recent studies, I read ‘Doughnut Economics’ by Kate Raworth and Dana Thomas’ ‘Fashionopolis’ which completely changed my opinion towards consumption, unethical fast fashion brands and explained the importance of circularity within our economy. From here the premise of the blog was born, and I decided to create a space which reflected my style but also celebrated circular fashion and advocated conscious consumption.
I will never claim to be an expert on sustainability or circularity within the fashion industry but I am truly passionate about both subjects and therefore will continue to learn and share as much as I can along the way. I hope to make this a safe place void of judgement or preachiness, but rather a helpful guide to those wanting to consume in a more circular manner. I hope you enjoy it!
